Sustainable Fishing

As a business wholly existing around the natural abundance of the ocean, we understand the need for true synergy between protecting marine resources and harvesting its goodness.

Our tuna fishing practices are fully sustainable including MSC certification and comply with the requirements from WCPFC, FFA and Ministry of Fisheries in Fiji to ensure they remain at healthy levels, focusing on processes to reduce bycatch and investing in innovations & technologies to support our sustainable efforts.

Our Products

Vessel Fleet & Facilities

Our 100% vertically integrated value chain includes our own fishing fleet and management fishing vessels with 30 long line vessels and two state of the art fish processing factories specializing in fresh and frozen processes respectively.

  • All our vessels are well equipped with Freezing and Ice slurry facilities as well as Vessel Monitoring Systems. Some of our long line vessels also include onboard ultra-low Freezer facilities to maintain high quality of sashimi tuna.
  • Our fleet is certified by MSC and strictly monitored by the Fiji Ministry of Fisheries
  • Our processing factories are audited by external auditors from overseas and fully comply with United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) and the European Union (EU).
  • Our frozen factory is certified by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
  • Our QA labs are well equipped and tied with universities for independent verifications.
  • Our crews and processing team leads are highly experienced, and all team members receive continuous training on quality, safety and sustainable processes.
