We are a member of the Western Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) and our commitment to sustainability is seen in our yellow fin, big eye and Albacore Albacore products that proudly carry the blue Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) label.
We are committed to Dolphin safe fishing practices and our vessels are under the jurisdiction of the government of Fiji that prohibits illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing activities.
At Golden Ocean we are fully committed to 100% traceability in our produce, and with a completely vertically integrated value chain we are able to provide this guarantee – all our fish is caught by our own vessels and processed in our own facilities, and we adhere to traceability standards that surpass industry norms.

We have a strong focus on waste reduction and recycling efforts, pushing reuse and recycling rates to the maximum. Over 95% of our solid waste, mostly fish waste, gets a new lease on life – transformed into animal feed. and fish oil. But we’re not stopping there. We’re on a mission to slash solid waste generation, promoting reuse and smart use of resources every step of the way.
